Monday, September 5, 2011: LABOR OF LOVE – Kick Off! Food, Music and Fam! Fillmore Center Plaza (Fillmore & O’Farrell Street)
Live music , dance performances, live painting and vending. Hands-on art projects for the kids hosted by Mo’ Magic and Trash Mash-Up. “Labor of Love” is a live art celebration with live performances, live painting, and art sales. What is Labor Day without BBQ? BBQ By: Farmer’s Block- Vegan BBQ! City Smokehouse- pulled pork sandwiches! Entertainment is free, BBQ $5- $8.
Live Music By: AhSati Nu and the Fertile Concept, Rob Young, Panopoly and Future Perfekt! Djs: Zulu Nation, DJ Delrokz and Sake One!
Tuesday, September 6, 2011: OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS Yoshi’s SF
“Opportunity Knocks” a speed dating meets networking event where emerging artists have 15-minutes to meet one-on-one with industry professionals to show their work, gather advice on how to take their craft to the next level, or how to grow the audience for their work. Music producers, entertainment-marketing specialists, fashion executives, record labels and art gallery owners donate their time to support up-and-coming artists. Artists are encouraged to bring their music, portfolios, scripts, apparel, or other artistic medium for critique.
Wednesday, September 7, 2011: GO GREEN- Sustainable Fashion Fair (Clothing Swap) African American Art & Culture Complex
This is not your ordinary clothing swap with piles of clothes all over the place (no diss). The “Go Green” Sustainable Fashion event is for those who want to find new treasures and shed old ones. Targeted Ask: t-shirts, neckties, bow ties, scarves and Denim (shirts, pants, etc.). All clothes must be clean, fresh and folded. Learn awesome DIY tips from the Bay Areas Best! Portion of Proceeds: “Literacy Through the Arts- Docent Program”

“Thank You” Awards Ceremony – This is our official celebration to say “thank you” to amazing Bay Area Artists, Art Supporters and Advocates who are on the front lines of the independent art movement. These persons have done exceptional work to empower others through art.
Friday, September 9, 2011: THE FILLMORE ART WALK Fillmore (between Post and Mc Allister)
“The Fillmore Art Walk” is a multi-location art celebration and an assortment of one-night-only pop-up galleries along Fillmore Street featuring live painting, video/DJ Showcase, live music, supplemented by food and drink specials from the restaurants and lounges along Fillmore Street.
Saturday, September 10, 2011: ART OF HEALING Fillmore Center Plaza (Fillmore & O’ Farrell Street)
“Art of Healing” look into the art and craft of yoga, tai chi, acupuncture, massage therapy, and meditation. This event takes place alongside the Fillmore Farmer’s Market. Come and participate, ask questions and learn about taking care of your body from master body workers. First session starts at 9am This event runs concurrently with the Fillmore Farmer’s Market.
Sunday, September 11, 2011: CELEBRATE COMMUNITY- OFFICIAL FINALE with SAN FRANCISCO’S WESTERN ADDITION SUNDAY STREETS Fillmore between Fulton and Sutter
